Create quiz → Create with cloud AI writes a whole quiz, with questions, answers, results and scoring, from your description and any files you attach.
It uses your own OpenRouter account, which reaches models from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and others. Tap Connect OpenRouter once, approve Selfscovery, and come back to the app. If that doesn’t connect, tap Use an API key: create a key in OpenRouter, copy it and paste it into Selfscovery. Manage account lets you set a hard spending limit on the key. OpenRouter charges its own account for the models you use, usually a few cents a quiz; Selfscovery adds no markup.
Generation mode:
- Best quality: a strong paid model for a detailed quiz.
- Research & links: researches current sources first, then builds a linked quiz.
Spending guardrail: Stop this run near $0.10 to $1.00. It is best effort, so the key limit in Manage account is the real cap.
Large catalogues, stores and database tables: the AI gets a summary of their attributes (features, categories, price range and a sample of items) and writes questions about those. Every item is still added as a result afterwards and ranked by the answers, so it stays quick even with thousands of items.
You can keep using the app while it runs; the AI job tab shows progress.
